IT Vendor/Contract Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Vendor/Contract Manager with our client located in Austin, TX. This is a 2-4+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Review, negotiate, support, manage and administer contracts for technology services and products
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers and service providers, secure the best possible terms and pricing for routine and complex technology contracts including software-as-a-service contracts, terms of service, privacy policy terms, service level agreements, data-use, and master agreements for technology services and products
• Effectively report to IT/LT on new, auto renewing and expiring contracts throughout the contracting process, including negotiations and all necessary reviews and approvals, escalate any issues that may impact timely approvals
• Manage the entry and tracking of contracts in the contract tracking system and follow up with the involved parties to ensure these items are kept current and up to date, including upcoming expirations and renewals
• Ensure all contracts are accurate, comprehensive, comply with client policy, and protect the organization's interests
• Ensure the contract review and approval process, from initial drafts to final signatures, is completed in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their needs
• Regularly report on cost savings achieved through negotiations
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in contract management processes
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key vendors

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in technology and/or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years' experience in negotiating and managing technology contracts, including drafting, reviewing, redlining, and finalizing agreements
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to deal tactfully with vendors, suppliers, and contractors while managing effective vendor relationships
• In-depth knowledge of contract and purchasing regulations and standards
• Experience with contract management software and other relevant tools
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Attentive with a highly detailed approach in reviewing and redlining contracts
• Proficient in verbal and written communication for effective stakeholder interactions and positive collaborative experiences
• Ability to work on diverse contractual issues simultaneously
• Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and with a high degree of quality
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Pay Range: $45.00 - $55.00
