Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Apply proven experience in deploying an enterprise-level, multi-site Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) to guide the Environmental Services (ES) division's engagement in the configuration, implementation, and operation as part of a Council wide EAMS deployment.
  • Ensure alignment of the system with the division's asset lifecycle management strategies.
  • Assess organizational needs and translate them into effective system solutions and guide the strategic setup of the software to support the long-term asset reliability and performance goals.
  • Align data structures and schemas with asset care and lifecycle requirements.
  • Integrate asset condition monitoring technologies and asset care methods within the EAMS framework.
  • Coordinate the implementation with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration with existing business systems and processes.
  • Provide strong leadership and communication across technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure long-term sustainability of the solution.
  • Maintain a clear focus on achieving business objectives through effective system deployment and optimization.
  • Serve as a key liaison between ES leadership, technical teams, and external vendors.

Mandatory Skills:

  1. 15+ Years in Asset Management role with direct experience in ensuring that technology solutions and their implementation align with the organization's AM strategy including:
      • Multi-site experience in the deployment of EAMS.
      • Experience in the integration of EAMS with key business processes, including Asset Criticality, Maintenance Strategies, Failure Reporting Corrective Action systems, RCFA and FMEA.
      • Direct experience in Reliability Centered Maintenance systems and their integration with EAMS.
      • Experienced in the deployment of EAMS in a regulated environment.
  2. Experience in the development of end-user documentation with good knowledge of the tactical details needed to train, support and diagnose information requirements for the successful deployment of a large multi site system.
  3. Direct experience in the deployment and change management strategies to deliver sustainable solutions to a cross-functional and multi-site teams using Enterprise Asset Management systems.
  4. Working independently and in a team environment is required.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Certification by the Institute of Asset Management, Association of Asset Management Professionals, Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals, or a similar organization
