Description
We are looking for a Research Data Analyst to join our team in Charlottesville, Virginia. In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills to support marketing initiatives by managing data, conducting in-depth analyses, and delivering insightful recommendations. This position will also involve contributing to research efforts focused on sustainability standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain databases to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Perform sensitivity analyses to evaluate potential outcomes and impacts.
Develop financial models to support decision-making processes and strategic planning.
Create detailed reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Conduct research on sustainability reporting standards to support company initiatives.
Analyze technology platforms and tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
Investigate regulatory market requirements to ensure compliance and alignment with industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights.
Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Tableau to visualize and interpret complex datasets.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and functions.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage and manipulate large datasets effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data.
Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards is a plus.
Familiarity with regulatory market requirements and technology platforms is preferred.
