Job Title: PeopleSoft Technical Support Engineer- W2 Only

Remote

Duration: One Year Contract with possibility of extensions.

Position Overview

IRG Clients is seeking a skilled PeopleSoft HR Developer to provide backfill support for our PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System during the agency's transition to a new HR/Finance ERP system. This is a critical, newly created position to ensure continuity of service and system stability throughout the transition.

Scope of the Project

The successful candidate will support and maintain agency's complex PeopleSoft HR system, associated web applications, and reporting tools. The role involves development, troubleshooting, and implementation of technical solutions to meet business needs in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Programming & Development, Design, code, test, document, and implement moderately complex PeopleSoft programs and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various HR modules.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental and project standards.
  • Application Analysis
  • Analyze business requirements and design appropriate technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with users to gather information and deliver system modifications.
  • Support testing, training, and production migration activities.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of business rules and subsystem functionality.

Required Skills:

  • PeopleTools: App Designer - PeopleCode, Application Engine; SQR; Data Mover; Security setup (PeopleSoft Test Framework a plus)
  • Oracle SQL
  • PeopleSoft reporting tools Query, BI Publisher
  • PeopleSoft HR experience with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Employee Self Service

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HR suite and PeopleTools development.

Demonstrated experience as a PeopleSoft programmer or developer.
