Role: Mainframe CICS Systems/Application Engineer
Location: Remote
Type of employment: Contract
Contract Duration: 6 months likely extended
NOTE: Candidates MUST be willing to provide on call support outside of normal working hours
Job Description:
- Position is a blend of engineer/admin/programmer -- seeking a CICS expert
- 3 main responsibilities: System programming, Application support, Performance tuning. (Candidates MUST have 2/3)
- Candidate will be installing CICS, performance tuning, correcting changes, create new transactions, new programs, new files
- Ideal candidate is someone coming out of an enterprise mainframe environment, who has been heavily involved with all aspects from the system programming and application side
