Description

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and monitor the inbound movement of materials to ensure timely delivery from suppliers.

Identify material requirements and collaborate with purchasing, production, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with project needs.

Develop and refine specifications for new contracts, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Utilize forecasting tools to optimize material planning and scheduling processes.

Analyze trends in material usage and production to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Support production teams by ensuring the availability of raw materials and resolving supply chain issues.

Partner with suppliers to maintain strong relationships and ensure consistent communication.

Assist in the development of prototypes by coordinating material specifications and delivery timelines.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline material planning and supply chain operations.

Monitor and report on material flow, providing insights to support operational decisions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Strong understanding of supply planning processes and material handling procedures.
Proven ability to analyze trends and provide actionable insights to improve operations.
Experience with forecasting, scheduling, and optimization tools.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and apply sound judgment in solving complex challenges.
Proficiency in monitoring tools and reporting systems to track material flow and performance.
Familiarity with production, budgeting, and engineering concepts is a plus.
