The BGS P-8 Sustainment program is seeking a Systems Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our dynamic team leading the way in Integrated Health Management Systems (IHMS) in Tukwila, Washington. Our Engineers work in a highly dynamic environment collecting data, analyzing data and making actionable recommendations to enable critical product improvements and support decisions.
Position Responsibilities:
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate or Mid-Level System Engineers.

- Perform prime Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) and Health Management System (HMS) analysis functions in support of our Navy R&M customer and the Reliability Control Board
- Perform data acquisition, management and reporting, to support design, maintenance, logistics, and business development throughout the product lifecycle
- Apply analysis results and make recommendations to product teams and system support/supportability, to influence design and comply with requirements
- Define, develop and implement processes and tools needed to execute system health functions and engineering supportability across the program and to improve productivity, accuracy, quality and efficiency
- Perform and document system health validation and verification activities, to assess adherence to specifications
- Research, analyze, and compile technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle
- Apply system processes, methodologies and tools to design systems and new product development

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 2+ years of experience in technical or engineering field
- Experience with C++, Python or Java
- Experience with Data Analytics tools
- Experience with Linux
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Systems Engineering experience using tools such as Windchill, BORIS, and other common tools.
- Experience with analyzing field data commercial derivative aircraft
- P-8 mission and aircraft systems background
