The Senior Financial Analyst supports key finance functions including transactional research, audit coordination, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial and accounting analysis
  • Research compliance/reporting issues; apply accounting standards
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
  • Ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting
  • Assist with audit coordination and financial surveys
  • Lead or support ad hoc projects and executive requests
  • Promote diversity, adhere to policies, and follow process improvement principles

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (Required)

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in accounting or financial analysis (Required)

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Advanced analytical and research skills
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP, especially in healthcare operations
  • Understanding of:
    • Project cost tracking and budget reporting
    • Capital vs. operational expenditures
    • Fixed assets and related depreciation/amortization
