Job Title: Factory Engineer

Location: Fuquay-Varina, NC

Duration: 13 Months

Job Type : Contract/ Contingent

Shift: Primarily 1st shift (6:00 AM 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday). Occasional overtime may be required on Fridays.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Factory Engineer to provide both manufacturing engineering and quality engineering support for an existing assembly line. The ideal candidate will play a key role in sustaining daily operations, troubleshooting quality concerns, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining safety standards.

Job Duties:

  • Provide daily manufacturing and quality engineering support to the assembly line.
  • Maintain and update assembly documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues as they arise.
  • Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement projects for manufacturing processes.
  • Enhance existing mistake-proofing solutions on the assembly line.
  • Eliminate safety and/or ergonomic risks for line operators and staff.

Job Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Manufacturing Engineer (ME) or Quality Engineer (QE), specifically involved with assembly operations.

Basic computer skills (Windows preferred).

SAP system knowledge.

Experience with AutoCAD (helpful, not required).

Experience with Creo (helpful, not required).
