Description

Our client in the staffing industry is hiring a Business Analyst IV to support strategic initiatives within the Salesforce Competency Center. This senior-level role is responsible for leading complex business analysis activities, identifying opportunities for operational improvement, and guiding cross-functional teams through process transformation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Salesforce and enterprise applications and will play a key role in driving innovation and efficiency across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a senior advisor and strategist for business analysis initiatives, aligning analysis activities with organizational priorities.
  • Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of complex business requirements across multiple departments.
  • Use broad expertise to propose innovative solutions that close functional gaps, improve processes, support compliance, and increase overall business effectiveness.
  • Review, refine, and provide feedback on requirements documentation produced by other team members.
  • Evaluate and map current and future-state business processes, identifying upstream and downstream impacts.
  • Develop enterprise-wide reporting standards and analytics strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Corporate Services, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Maintain advanced understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, forecast ROI on new features, and align platform enhancements with business needs.
  • Own and maintain a platform feature roadmap in alignment with vendor updates and business priorities.
  • Demonstrate and validate functional concepts through configuration in non-production environments.
  • Advise leadership on the technical impact of business decisions and influence strategic direction.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to support enterprise-wide process improvement and efficiency efforts.
  • Champion customer service excellence by supporting users and promoting transparency throughout project lifecycles.


Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of business functional experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Deep experience in at least two functional areas and broad knowledge across others.
  • Advanced knowledge of KPI, operational, and analytical reporting, including data architecture and warehouse concepts.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), system implementation, and project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, PMI).
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise applications and integration points.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and its alignment with business operations and strategy.
  • Ability to lead and mentor business systems analysts, contributing to their professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and document complex business requirements and processes.
  • Skilled at creating detailed and dynamic "to-be" process flows and solution designs.
  • Ability to design comprehensive test plans for large-scale initiatives.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to present effectively to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Business Analyst, Administrator, Platform App Builder).
  • Experience configuring Salesforce in sandbox environments for prototyping.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and deliver business value through technology transformation.
