SailPoint Developer Remote Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SailPoint Developer to design, develop, and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SailPoint workflows, connectors, rules, and policies, along with a solid understanding of identity governance, lifecycle management, and access provisioning. This is a fully remote role requiring strong communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and implement SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions, including lifecycle events, certifications, provisioning, roles, and access requests.

  • Develop and customize SailPoint components such as:

    • Workflows

    • Rules (BeanShell scripts)

    • Connectors/integrations

    • Forms and UI elements

  • Implement identity lifecycle management processes: Joiner/Mover/Leaver, access provisioning, and de-provisioning.

  • Integrate SailPoint with enterprise systems (LDAP, AD, HR systems, databases, cloud applications, etc.).

  • Troubleshoot issues related to identity governance, provisioning, connectors, and rules.

  • Support application onboarding to the SailPoint platform.

  • Perform testing, debugging, and performance tuning of SailPoint configurations.

  • Collaborate with IAM architects, security, and application teams to deliver scalable IAM solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies, governance standards, and best practices.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, documentation reviews, and release management processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3 7+ years of hands-on experience as a SailPoint IdentityIQ Developer.

  • Strong expertise in:

    • SailPoint IIQ configuration and customization

    • BeanShell scripting

    • Java development

    • SailPoint workflows, rules, tasks, correlation, and certifications

  • Experience integrating with systems like Active Directory, LDAP, databases, and SaaS applications.

  • Solid understanding of IAM concepts: roles, entitlements, authentication, authorization, separation of duties, and user lifecycle.

  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services integration.

  • Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud IAM integrations (Azure AD, AWS, Okta, etc.).

  • Knowledge of SQL and database queries.

  • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile environments.

  • SailPoint certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
