| Ideal candidate profile - 15+ years' SAP WM experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with multiple full lifecycle, validated implementations.
- Strong, demonstrable expertise in CSV, change control, GxP compliance, RF scanning implementations and GS1 traceability.
- Proven ability to independently run medium projects, guide teams, and implement template aligned solutions.
- Excellent communicator, fluent in English, able to liaise with QA, Production, IT and senior stakeholders globally.
Core responsibilities - Global template adherence and implementation
- Design and implement WM solutions that conform to the global SAP WM template; assess local requirements against the template and propose only approved, controlled deviations.
- Execute template-driven configurations, prepare impact assessments for requested changes, and ensure global design governance is followed throughout site rollouts.
- Functional design & configuration
- Lead end to end functional design and configuration for manufacturing warehouse processes: inbound/receipts, putaway, storage/bin strategy, HU/SSCC handling, picking strategies, production staging/kitting, returns, and physical inventory.
- Produce clear functional specifications and configuration guides aligned to both template standards and site SOPs.
- CSV & change control
- Own CSV deliverables for WM, RF and labeling systems: author URS/FRS, design specs, create and execute IQ/OQ/PQ test scripts, maintain traceability matrices and validation reports.
- RF scanning & mobile workflows
- Design, validate and optimize RF/mobile data capture workflows for goods receipt, putaway, picking, production supply, goods issue and returns; specify handheld devices, printers and Wi Fi requirements; validate RF reliability and throughput.
- GS1 traceability & labeling
- Adhere to GS1 standards (GTIN, SSCC, GLN, GRAI), GS1 128/DataMatrix symbologies and label templates; integrate label printing and scanning with SAP WM and MES to support serialization, batch and expiry management and enable rapid recall capability.
- Integration, testing & go live
- Coordinate integration testing across SAP MM/PP/QM, MES, LIMS, 3PL/EDI, label printers and external systems (IDoc/RFC/PI PO/APIs).
- Lead UAT and CSV testing with QA/Operations/IT, manage defect triage, and ensure validated state prior to go live; provide hypercare and transfer to support.
- Project leadership & stakeholder management
- Plan and run medium sized projects independently: create project plans, manage scope/schedule, report to steering committees and escalate risks appropriately.
- Provide steering, mentoring and technical guidance to project team members and local implementation teams; facilitate workshops, create training materials and deliver user training.
