We re seeking a skilled and proactive Network Security Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara. You ll play a pivotal role in managing and securing complex network infrastructures, especially within data center environments. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and have hands-on expertise with cutting-edge technologies like EVPN, VXLan, and BTP, we d love to connect!

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures for enterprise-level data centers
• Administer and troubleshoot EVPN, BTP, and VXLan deployments across various platforms
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security across networking architecture
• Conduct risk assessments, implement firewall policies, and optimize threat detection systems
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards
• Document operational procedures and maintain up-to-date network diagrams

Qualifications

• Proven experience in network operations and data center technologies
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with EVPN, BTP, VXLan protocols
• Deep understanding of routing/switching, firewalls, and VPNs
• Familiarity with network monitoring, intrusion detection/prevention tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Certifications like CCNP Security, CISSP, or equivalent
