Job Description

ECS is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to work in our Redstone Arsenal, AL office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

ECS is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC) team supporting the FBI. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to analyze and optimize business processes and systems, with a focus on security and risk management. You will use your analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our security operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and flowcharts
  • Conduct process mapping and analysis to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for automation
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement solutions to optimize business processes and systems
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and ROI analysis to determine the feasibility of proposed solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure that business needs are met and that solutions are implemented effectively
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations
  • Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards to measure the performance of security operations
  • Collaborate with the SOC team to develop and implement security procedures and policies
Working Conditions:
  • This position will require working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • The Business Systems Analyst will be required to work closely with stakeholders, including security analysts, incident responders, and threat intelligence analysts
  • The Business Systems Analyst will be required to maintain a high level of security awareness and be able to identify and mitigate security risks
  • The Business Systems Analyst will be required to work in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.


Required Skills

  • Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a related role
  • Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean
  • Experience with process mapping and analysis tools, such as Visio or Lucidchart
  • Familiarity with security procedures and policies, including NIST and ISO 27001
  • Strong understanding of business systems and technology, including network security, incident response, and threat intelligence


Desired Skills

  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and tools
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools, such as ServiceNow or BMC Helix
