Position: JDA WMS Architect
Location: Remote
Duration:Long-term

Role Overview:

The JDA WMS Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing JDA Warehouse Management System solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in JDA WMS architecture, integration, and customization to align with complex business processes and large-scale warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end JDA WMS solution architecture, including functional and technical design.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable WMS solutions.
  • Design integration strategies with ERP, TMS, and other enterprise systems.
  • Oversee configuration, customization, and module implementation for JDA WMS.
  • Define and enforce WMS best practices, coding standards, and deployment processes.
  • Provide technical leadership to development and support teams during project execution.
  • Conduct system performance analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage WMS upgrades, patches, and environment migrations.
  • Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a JDA WMS Architect or Senior Consultant.
  • Strong knowledge of JDA WMS 2012+ / Blue Yonder WMS architecture.
  • Expertise in JDA WMS configuration, MOCA, Integrator, and advanced picking/packing strategies.
  • Experience with WMS integration (EDI, API, middleware).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes: receiving, put-away, inventory control, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Proficient in SQL and performance tuning.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with JDA/BY Luminate platform.
  • Exposure to cloud-based deployments (Azure/AWS).
  • Knowledge of related supply chain systems (TMS, OMS).
  • Prior experience in high-volume distribution environments.
