Description: Our client is currently seeking a Call Center Technician (Help Desk)!
Location: Onsite (5 days/week)
Support Coverage: 24/7
Shifts Available:
As a Call Center Technician, you'll be the frontline of IT Help Desk support, providing high-quality assistance to both corporate and retail locations. You'll handle inbound calls, document issues, create service tickets, and perform basic troubleshooting across a range of systems including alarms, pricing, and hardware.

Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
As a Call Center Technician, you'll be the frontline of IT Help Desk support, providing high-quality assistance to both corporate and retail locations. You'll handle inbound calls, document issues, create service tickets, and perform basic troubleshooting across a range of systems including alarms, pricing, and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls using standardized scripts to ensure consistent service quality.
- Log service issues and generate tickets using internal ticketing systems.
- Provide technical support for IT infrastructure, POS systems, CCTV, alarms, and maintenance-related issues.
- Troubleshoot retail systems including POS, back-office software, credit card processing, and fuel networks.
- Meet performance metrics such as first-call resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.
- Maintain compliance with call center and company standards.
- 1+ year of experience in customer service or IT technical support, ideally in a call center environment.
- Familiarity with Windows PCs, Microsoft 365, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience with ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow or Service Channel (preferred).
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of POS systems and enterprise retail software (e.g., PDI/Enterprise 8) is a plus.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Customer-first mindset with active listening and empathy.
