Acuren is currently recruiting a Senior Engineering Associate for our Advanced Engineering Group in Magnolia, TX
Responsibilities
- As an individual contributor, drive technology development and research projects, investigate new technologies for technical and commercial potential, support and develop training programs, and manage product and process development.
- Write detailed engineering reports documenting analysis and testing workflows, methods, and results.
- Provide technical oversight for engineering analysis and technical reports produced by other engineers and external contractors on a wide variety of engineering projects.
- Work on cross-discipline mechanical integrity projects that span ILI, NDE, engineering, analysis, and mechanical testing.
- Routinely interface with test engineers for developing test plans and procedures and assist with managing testing programs and test execution.
- Maintain an understanding of applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients, as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related engineering fields.
- 8+ years experience in engineering, R&D, integrity, or inspection functions.
- Strong foundation in engineering, inspections, data analysis, and project management.
- Strong understanding of the practical application of statistics for processing integrity management calculations and data.
- Excellent working knowledge of CFR 192/195, ASME B31.8, ASME B31.8S, and ASME B31.4, API 579/ASME FFS-1, Fitness-For-Service code requirements.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and results.

Working Conditions
