The Director of Process Re-Engineering and Planning will provide leadership re-imagining our integrated processes, connecting business strategy through day-to-day operational execution. This senior leader will orchestrate comprehensive transformations of specific processes and functions while reimagining how we leverage our technology platforms to drive both strategic and operational excellence. The Director will establish critical partnerships across business units, operations, finance, and other functions to design and implement cohesive processes that align long-term business objectives with immediate operational requirements. This role requires a strategic visionary with deep operational expertise who can translate executive priorities into actionable initiatives while leading a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute assigned processes, connecting business strategy with operational execution
  • Lead the comprehensive transformation of enterprise processes, with accountability for both design and operational implementation
  • Establish and optimize operational metrics associated with assigned processes
  • Develop the strategic roadmap for process re-engineering and the associated technology, maximizing ROI from our platforms and leveraging AI where possible
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across business units, operations, finance, and other functions
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of specialists, developing talent and capabilities
  • Define organizational KPIs for effectiveness and process efficiency
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new processes and systems
  • The role is a program management role responsible for both connecting the dots across the entire lifecycle and also for delivering the associated operational activities
  • The role will be the driver behind defining the future end to end process within Professional Services and also collaboration with our peer organizations
  • The candidate will be responsible for further defining the vision and scope of this role as they review existing processes and engage stakeholders to develop a roadmap for the future

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in process re-engineering, operations management, or business planning
  • Demonstrated success leading major transformation initiatives that bridge strategic planning and operational execution
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities, including experience interpreting complex data to drive executive decision-making
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
  • Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration at the director/VP level
  • Outstanding executive communication and presentation skills
  • Superior project management skills, leading both operations and IT projects
  • Role is based in San Francisco with key stakeholders
  • "Beginners' mindset' gained from scaling operational processes across rapidly growing or changing businesses

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in SaaS or technology consulting environments
  • Executive education in operational excellence or business transformation
  • Background implementing enterprise-wide planning and operational systems
  • PMP (project management professional) certification

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,800 to $281,100.
