QA Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a QA Engineer in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:
* QA Engineer will design and develop automated tests for new business critical flows
* Maintain existing automated tests
* Enhance automation framework to meet ongoing demand and new tools and technology
* Establish effective working relationships directly with internal product development teams
* As a QA Engineer, you will contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
* Collaborate with other product teams, sharing QA automation best practices and testing frameworks to promote standardization across the firm

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree (Information Technology or Computer Science preferred)
* Minimum of 3 year(s) of experience
* Thorough understanding of modern software development processes including development process lifecycle, Agile development methodologies, etc.; Continue to develop internal relationships
* Able to communicate effectively across multiple workstream leads, geographies, and product management

Preferred:
* 4+ years of experience in design and implementation of automated testing using Selenium with Python, Java/C#, JavaScript, Angular, REST APIs, jQuery, Entity framework and LINQ Query
* Knowledge/experience in BDD
* Experience with CI/CD
* Experience with API automation
* Experience in source control using tools like git, TFS, Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.
* Familiar with Test reporting framework and be able to extend using extent/Allure
* Familiar with SQL to write & execute queries against Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle database platforms
* Familiar with Performance testing (using JMeter)
* Able to build, maintain and grow test automation infrastructure

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
