Job Title: Cypress Automation Engineer
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cypress Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cypress for automating end-to-end testing of web applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA analysts, and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Perform regression, functional, and performance testing on web applications.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test scenarios and data requirements.
  • Review test results, identify root causes, and communicate issues effectively.
  • Maintain test environments and ensure test data consistency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
  • Familiarity with test frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or similar.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
  • Knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience in performance testing and monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin).
  • Experience in cross-browser and mobile testing
