Pega Business Systems Analyst

Position Description
This position is located in our Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Dallas, TX office with work performed at our client site in Pittsburgh or Strongsville or Dallas; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

As Pega Business Systems Analyst you will gather information from various teams and subject matter experts to analyze business needs and document requirements and create user stories to support the design, development and testing of a complete Pega implementation. As the BSA, you will be responsible for translating the high-level vision into functional Pega specifications for the development and testing teams. You will play a key role in agile process management, analyzing, scoping and accepting user stories and UAT.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and requirements.
Identifying and documenting business requirements that can be handed off to the Pega development team.
Translate client's business needs into detailed business requirements documents, use cases, user stories and systems interaction diagrams
Works with clients' to establish approved wireframes and mock-ups for solutions.
Analysis to gather information to ensure that you have a complete picture of all the problems before configuring a solution.
Process Design to transform the workflow by evaluating the information you have gathered during your analysis to redesign the workflow using Pega Platform's capabilities.
Alignment - Using Pega Platform's workflow modeling capabilities, you work closely with both the Business team and Pega developers to collaborate on designing, building and testing the Pega solution
Support the Business team by explaining the value of those out-of-the-box features, and how they are used to improve their business processes
Facilitate meetings to gather requirements that support the business process transformation
Use the Pega Platform's App Studio to demonstrate the out-of-the-box functionality of Pega Platform in the new business processes workflow
Design, develop, and demonstrate new functionality for business clients.
Modify or develop new workflow configurations to maximize production and operating efficiency

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelor's degree
Successful completion of the Pega Senior System Architect certification (PCSSA) and/or the Pega System Architect certification (PCSA) to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Pega Platform
Six or more years of relevant experience in a Pega Business Systems Analyst role.
Experience working as a Pega Business Systems Analyst eliciting requirements from the business stakeholders
Two or more years experience working in Jira and Confluence.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodology.
PowerPoint experience
Successfully collaborated with IT to articulate business requirements to facilitate feature development

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills:
Strong personal initiative, drive, motivated to learn.
Knowledgeable in business frameworks
Banking experience

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300- $135,200.
