Job Title: ETL Informatica Production Support


Location: Plano, TX


Work Arrangement: Hybrid


Client Industry: Banking


Duration:12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)


About the Role:


We are seeking a Production Services Specialist to join our team. The role ensures the availability, stability, and reliability of production applications, with a strong focus on incident triage, defect resolution, and proactive system improvements.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide L2/L3 production support, including research, triage, defect resolution, and compliance checks.

  • Deliver on-call support for incidents/issues and coordinate across multiple support teams.

  • Communicate application health and status to business and management.

  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues using advanced querying and programming skills.

  • Perform root cause analysis and suggest monitoring and stability improvements.

  • Partner with Technology Infrastructure and Development teams to support releases, server upgrades, and software deployments.

  • Manage real-time restoration of services, ensuring timely communication of progress and challenges.

  • Participate in Disaster Recovery and Resiliency exercises.

  • Apply Incident and Problem Management best practices.

  • Clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical partners.


What We re Looking For:



  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux & Shell Scripting

  • Strong database skills: Oracle, Teradata

  • Experience with Hadoop

  • Proficiency with ETL tools Informatica

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools: ITRS Geneos, Splunk

  • Job scheduling tools: Autosys

  • Understanding of ITIL concepts (Incident & Problem Management)

  • Excellent communication (verbal & written)

  • Flexibility to provide stand-by/on-call support in rotation

  • Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations

  • Results-oriented and able to interact with senior management and business stakeholders

  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis quickly

  • Innovative, independent, and proactive



Compensation:


Hourly Rate: $50 $55 per hour


This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
