Title: Sr. Data Analyst - Gaming Analytics
Client: Fortune 10 Technology Company
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Rate: $65 to $75/hr W2 
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst IV to support a Fortune 5 technology client s immersive and gaming experiences division. This role focuses on empowering developers and studios with data-driven insights to optimize player engagement, retention, and monetization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and technical expertise, paired with hands-on experience in gaming analytics, live-ops, or digital economies.
This is a remote, long-term contract opportunity with a leading global technology brand driving innovation in interactive entertainment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with game studios to analyze in-game behavior and player lifecycle data.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and visual reports to track game performance.
- Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to measure feature impact and user engagement.
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for design, monetization, and player retention strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data-driven best practices across gaming operations.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and compliance with internal analytics standards.
- Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or game analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or R (must be demonstrated in professional experience).
- Expertise in data visualization, dashboard creation, and A/B testing.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights.
- Experience with live-ops economies, game publishing, or digital economy modeling.
- Background in VR/AR, interactive entertainment, or gaming industry analytics.
- Familiarity with player retention, engagement metrics, and monetization frameworks.
- Experience in advertising or online advertising.
- Ability to manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Ability to simplify complex processes to create internal and external efficiencies.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Daily schedule: M-F, standard hours with flexibility for events or cross-time zone collaboration.
- Interactions: Highly collaborative with a variety of teams and stakeholders.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced, dynamic, and exposure to high-profile industry events.

- Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills: - Bachelor s degree in Marketing or related field.
- 5-7+ years marketing event experience with cross-functional program execution.
