RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is partnering with a client who is hiring an Information Security Engineer in Aurora, CO.
Summary:
This role requires foundational understanding of technology stacks, security tooling, threat and vulnerability management, and familiarity with security, and compliance standards. In this role you will provide support various security operations functions, including monitoring security tools and reports, anomaly detection, and interpretation. The Information Security Engineer will also assist in managing security incidents, including escalation, remediation, and follow-up for identified security issues. You will implement, maintain, and configure security tools and assist with break-fix activities. On-call rotation is required for this role.
REQUIREMENTS:
* BA/BS education
* 3+ years of experience or equivalent in IT security and compliance, preferred service provider experience
* Experience with Fortinet Products
* Familiarity with security tools/products such as Nessus, Logrhythm, Tripwire, Trend, Fortigates, or similar security tools/products
* Understanding of IT networking and virtualization technologies
* Understanding of Windows and Linux server and workstation security
* Willingness to Support 24/7/365 operations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
