Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in the insurance industry, based in The Woodlands, Texas. As part of our team, you will be providing technical assistance, troubleshooting software issues, and managing database systems to ensure smooth operations within the company. This role involves working with various technologies including Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, and Active Directory.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer hardware, software, and other computer-related technologies
Troubleshoot issues related to Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, and Active Directory
Assist in the configuration management process to ensure the effectiveness of software systems
Provide deskside support where necessary, assisting users in person with their technical difficulties
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of computer hardware and desktop hardware technologies to provide the most effective support possible
Respond to help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network connectivity
Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to solve complex IT issues
Continuously improve technical skills through professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Proficiency in Citrix Technologies and Microsoft Suite is essential.
Knowledge of EO/IR systems.
Ability to manage and maintain databases.
Experience with Lotus Notes.
Familiarity with the Active Directory.
Understanding of computer hardware systems.
Skills in configuration management.
Experience in providing deskside support.
Knowledge of desktop hardware.
Relevant experience in the insurance industry.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Strong communication skills to interact with non-technical staff and clients.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Willingness to stay updated with the latest technological trends and advancements.
Ability to adapt quickly to new software and hardware technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
