API Analyst with SQL & SSIR
Must include linkedin, one manager level reference (manager work email must be included)
The team currently has strong analysts who are
proficient in SQL and SSIS but the API piece is a lacking skillset for
his team and he needs this person to be somewhat of an SME with a
personable mentor type personality.
He does not need a full-on Developer or SW Engineer to develop APIs. He needs an API
analyst with strong SQL and SSIS experience to support his Healthplan/JIVA.
Title: API Analyst (mid-Sr. with lead/mentor aptitude/experience)

Must Haves:
- SQL and SSIS experience
- API experience within Health plan industry within last 1-2 recent positions including mentorship type tasks
- Experience creating API packages ( they have
data that is staged in database that team can stage; he needs it to be
transferred to sma api call (action of grabbing data transmitting to API
call is what he s looking )
- Experience working with HRA and Eligibility files (aligns with Health plan and insurance knowledge and experience)
Soft:
- Strong mentor/leadership skills
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with peers and customers (both business and technical)
- Has soft skills to be able to educate
analysts to transition to API Analysts/developers. (Analysts typically
just write specs; they need someone to execute that )
Pluses:
- JIVA (BIG PLUS!)
- Python
- Azure
Day to Day:
Have been assigned a couple wave initiatives that
require API Analyst to develop requirements, test, implement and deploy
the API
will NOT need to build the API.
Will include some backlogged work as well. They are
hoping to move everything from catalog to API and this person is going
being added to jumpstart that skillset for this team so they don t need
to borrow from other API development teams
assigned to other projects/initiatives.
Look at data pull data from source and post to published API.
More specifically:
Ziomega has published public APIs (aka framework
to what their code is supposed to look like) this candidate will not be
creating a brand new API to interact
- Experience with API calls wants analyst to be a little more advanced.
Use framework to develop/create package to house that public api to populate data.
Not developing API from scratch have parameters and JIVA has public catalog just needs to be able to utilize API
