Software Development Manager - .NET / Blazor / Oracle

iSphere is on the lookout for a seasoned Software Development Manager with deep expertise in modern Microsoft technologies and the ability to tackle legacy reporting systems head-on. This isn t just about writing code it s about leading modernization, designing scalable frameworks, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-level financial reporting solutions.

What You ll Do

Build the future: Design and implement a new reporting framework using .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor, Fluent UI, and other modern Microsoft tools.

Modernize the past: Analyze and enhance existing Crystal Reports tied into Oracle databases, improving performance and usability.

Engineer for scale: Deliver high-performance financial system solutions with seamless Oracle PL/SQL integration and optimization.

Collaborate for impact: Partner with DevOps and cross-functional teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.

Drive transformation: Provide solutions to streamline legacy projects and align with evolving business goals.
What You Bring

8+ years working across the full SDLC with proven experience leading modernization efforts.

Strong experience with .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor (Server & WSM), C#, Visual Studio, and modern design principles.

Deep expertise in Oracle (PL/SQL, stored procedures, database management, performance tuning).

Skilled in Entity Framework, data modeling, and optimizing complex data workflows.

Hands-on knowledge of Bitbucket version control, Nomad/Consul, and CI/CD processes.

Experienced in Agile/SCRUM environments, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Extras

Familiarity with JIRA, TEMPO, Confluence.

Prior Texas State Agency experience.

Background in large-scale financial systems or legacy modernization initiatives.
