Job Description
Purpose of the Job
The Oracle Cloud EPM Architect will be responsible for understanding how our organization operates and leverages its financial systems. This role will involve making recommendations on how to utilize the out-of-the-box functionality of Oracle EPM systems to remove complexity, minimize the support levels required, and add transparency and structure for stakeholders. The Oracle EPM Lead Architect will collaborate with the team and stakeholders to develop and implement these recommendations, ensuring that our systems are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, this position will continue to support, train, and enhance the systems, as well as maintain and support the existing infrastructure.
Qualifications
Required Work Experience
7 years of experience in corporate finance: Demonstrated expertise in managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting within a corporate environment.
7 years of experience in enterprise-level analytics: Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex financial and operational data, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making at an enterprise level.
5 years of experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) & Planning systems: Extensive experience in architecting, engineering, or developing EPM systems, ensuring they meet organizational needs and optimize performance.
5 years of experience in the design, implementation, and governance of system architecture: Skilled in creating and managing system architectures that handle high levels of complexity and sensitive data, ensuring security and efficiency.
5 years of experience in FP&A leadership: Leadership experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, guiding teams to achieve financial goals and improve planning processes.
5 years of experience in healthcare: In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, including financial operations, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific challenges.
5 years of experience in healthcare medical claims and billing: Expertise in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), including patient registration, insurance verification, coding, claims submission, payment processing, and denial management.
1 year of experience in a sales-related role with demonstrated success: Proven track record in sales, showcasing the ability to achieve targets and contribute to revenue growth.
1 year of experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Experience in implementing and managing RPA solutions to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Required Job Skills
Expertise in Oracle EPM and related products, including Planning, Essbase cubes & scripting, Financial Reporting, Data Management (ETL/Pipeline)
Extensive knowledge of financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Understanding of BSO/ASO cubes, Business Rules, Data Maps, EPM Automate, Data Forms, and Smart View
Strong technical documentation skills and a strong ability to translate technical concepts so that they are easily understood by laymen
Required Education

Relevant Agile project management certification, including Scrum, with relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster or Product Owner
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Architect, design, and implement Oracle EPM solutions that align with business needs and best practices.
Innovate, optimize, and support existing solutions and processes.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to the development team and stakeholders.
Ownership of end-to-end data integration processes between EPM and other enterprise applications.
Isolate, troubleshoot and resolve concerns as they arise, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Conduct evaluations, research, and prototyping to foster team innovation and adoption of new tools, while thoroughly vetting ideas to avoid unnecessary development efforts.
Produce live technical documentation to foster clarity and consistency.
Implement an interactive, multi-scenario, Long Range Plan (LRP).
Utilize 'out of the box' technology to replace and create solutions, highlighting the benefits and scalability of using built-in functionality.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional technical specifications using best-fit architectures.
Stay updated with the latest Oracle EPM technologies and industry trends, applying the value of that knowledge to the enterprise.
Deliver incremental value through bi-weekly sprints and actively participate in all Scrum events and activities while keeping progress updated in ServiceNow.
The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.
