Location: Austin, TX (1 day per month)
Type: Contract

Role Overview:

Seeking a CCIE-certified Cisco Architect to assess and resolve issues following a major outage. You will lead network remediation, life-cycle planning, and optimize dark fiber infrastructure and encryption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and remediate network devices affected by outage

  • Diagnose root causes and ensure stability

  • Develop infrastructure upgrade plan for EoL devices

  • Analyze and improve dark fiber connections and encryption

  • Provide performance, security, and compliance recommendations

Required Skills:

  • Active CCIE (Routing & Switching or equivalent)

  • Strong incident resolution experience

  • Lifecycle and EoL planning expertise

  • Dark fiber and encryption knowledge

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
