Job Details
Position: Project Manager
Duration: 1 year with Extension of 2 Years
Location: Tallahassee, FL
The successful candidate(s) will provide the following services:
- Providing comprehensive, ongoing project management of the FL WINS Program and in-scope integration efforts.
- Attending, coordinating, and leading, either virtually or in-person, ongoing comprehensive executive-level reporting of FL WINS key performance indicators to leadership and stakeholders, addressing performance, efficiency, progress, productivity, cost, risk, and quality.
- Coordinating between different agencies, teams, and stakeholders, ensuring adequate resources are available and the project is on schedule and is adhering to scope and budget.
- Tracking key project milestones and monitoring staffing levels for adjustments, as needed.
- Confirming that staffing activities align with project timelines and contractual requirements.
The successful candidate(s) will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- A certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Bachelor's degree in: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience
- Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required
- 7+ years of project management experience
- Experience managing large-scale software implementation projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects or programs
- Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions
- Experience documenting technical and business requirement specifications
- Possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques
- Understands complex web-based computer applications and has the ability to guide programming staff through projects
- Ability to document business and technical requirements and processes that can be understood and used by other technical staff
