Sr. Test Engineer (Defect Mgmt / Triage)

• 3+ years experience in defect Analysis, Triaging and Troubleshoot customer focused issues and exceptions.
• 3+ years' experience with Strong Defect management skills to drive the resolution of defects during the testing and involved complete defect life cycle.
• Strong understanding of defect life cycle and end to end defect management process
• Ability to work with end user and translate user challenges into technical terminology
• Ability to work with multiple application teams for end to end defect resolution
• Ability to work with various ticket management systems such as (but not limited to) iTrack,AOTS, TDP,JIRA, Sharepoint
• Work with tools such as Dynatrace, ELK and other monitoring tools for capturing event data and package the issues for quicker resolutions
• Strong communication and presenting skills
• Experience in documenting software defects, triage meetings, assigning and driving to resolution.
• Technical expertise to understand the application architecture and end to end data flow of the customer transactions to triage the production defects properly.
• Understanding of the Testing domain with hands-on experience.
• Proficient on defect reporting tools like TDP, JIRA, SharePoint & AOTS & SQL query for defect creation, reporting & defect management.
• Automation expertise on SQL, Macro for creating dashboards for defect tracking, defect reporting, defect management and to automate various triaging processes.
