Description
We are looking for a skilled Hyperion Application Developer to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. This role offers a long-term contract opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with extensive expertise in Oracle EPM and Hyperion technologies. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing financial planning applications, integrating data systems, and enhancing reporting capabilities to support key business decisions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Oracle Cloud Planning applications to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
Create and manage data integrations using Oracle Automate, Data Management tools, and other financial platforms to ensure seamless data flow.
Implement system upgrades and enhancements to optimize performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
Design advanced financial reports and analytics using tools such as SmartView, Hyperion Financial Reporting, Essbase, and Groovy scripting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance and IT, to improve financial modeling and streamline processes.
Support deployment and change management efforts for system migrations and process improvements.
Build automated calculations and validations to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Optimize system infrastructure and performance through proactive monitoring and tuning.
Provide technical guidance and training to team members to ensure effective use of Hyperion applications.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Planning and legacy Hyperion applications, including Essbase and Hyperion Planning.
Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Expertise in Oracle Automate, Data Management, and integrations with Oracle R12 E-Business Suite.
Proficiency in Groovy scripting for automation and business rule development.
Advanced skills in Excel and SmartView for financial analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with annuities, investment planning, and financial modeling for asset-liability management.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize Oracle Cloud environments.
