Description
We are seeking a hands-on PC Support Technician to provide comprehensive desktop and network support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of production and office IT systems, including computers, mobile devices, printers, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site desktop support for hardware across the manufacturing plant, including production lines and office areas.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and mobile RF devices.
  • Provide technical assistance for computers, phones, printers, and industrial printing systems.
  • Perform break/fix support for end-user devices, servers, and network infrastructure.
  • Support and maintain network servers, including Active Directory account management.
  • Re-image computers and troubleshoot network issues involving routers and switches.
  • Manage hardware inventory and coordinate e-waste disposal.
  • Reset wireless access points, which may require ladder climbing and working in elevated areas.
  • Ensure Windows 10/11 systems are up-to-date and functioning optimally.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support IT operations.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to make timely, critical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a high-demand environment.
  • Experience with desktop support, break/fix troubleshooting, and printer maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11, routers, switches, and re-imaging processes.
  • Willingness to undergo ladder safety training and work at heights.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular use of personal computer equipment.
  • Occasional stooping, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders (up to 25 feet) to access wireless access points and mezzanines.
  • Comfortable navigating tight spaces and elevated platforms while carrying hardware.

This is a Contract position based out of Tipp City, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
