Job Details
The objective of this engagement is to design, implement, and validate an automated Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to support the end-to-end build, deployment, and promotion of Mican software across multiple environments, including PCT, SIT, UAT, and Production.
Scope of Work:
The DevOps Engineer shall be responsible for the following activities:
Design the overall CI/CD pipeline architecture to align with MTO and Mican technical standards.
Configure required services including repositories, pipelines, and artifact management solutions.
Manage and automate the download and transfer of build artifacts from Mican to Azure Blob Storage.
Develop and implement pipeline automation to promote builds through designated environments.
Configure automated triggers, approval workflows, error handling, and rollback mechanisms.
Execute and validate smoke testing for all deployments to ensure successful implementation.
Develop detailed technical documentation outlining configuration, deployment, and maintenance procedures.
Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for Mican and MTO technical teams to ensure operational readiness.
Deliverables:
A fully operational automated CI/CD pipeline that successfully builds, tests, and deploys code across all environments.
Comprehensive documentation detailing pipeline setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Completion of formal knowledge transfer sessions and acceptance by Mican and MTO.
Acceptance Criteria:
Pipeline functionality verified through successful deployment and smoke testing across environments.
Training sessions completed, and handover formally acknowledged by both Mican and MTO.
Contractor Tasks
Contractors must have knowledge of Microsoft AZURE DevOps, Repos, CI/CD pipeline development.
Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools
Must have experience in Azure cloud platform and modern deployment strategies.
Skilled in setting up Windows, basic java web applications alert and logs
