Job Details

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Sr Full Stack Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure to join our Tech Services team. This is a permanent position where you'll be responsible for the end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of our cloud-based applications. You'll be working with a team of talented engineers, leveraging your skills to build and optimize scalable, reliable, and robust systems. With your experience and expertise, you will be instrumental in driving our technology forward, impacting the growth and direction of our organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Rust and Typescript code.
2. Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
3. Lead the design and implementation of features, services, and infrastructure to improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based applications.
4. Own DevOps to streamline software development and deployment processes.
5. Collaborate with other team members to identify and solve challenging technological problems.
6. Use GitHub for version control, code review, and other development processes.
7. Participate in all phases of the software development cycle as part of a Scrum team.
8. Provide technical guidance and coaching.
9. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and methodologies, and incorporate them into our operations.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
2. Extensive experience with Terraform, Rust, Typescript, Google Cloud Platform, GitHub, and DevOps.
3. Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based applications.
4. Strong understanding of software development life cycle models.
5. Solid understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and test-driven development.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
9. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
10. Relevant certifications in cloud technologies or DevOps would be an added advantage.
