Job Description:
Role: Project Manager
Location: Rosemead, CA(Remote)
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to support planning, scheduling, coordination, and reporting activities for electrical infrastructure and operational projects at Client. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience supporting large-scale technical programs in utility, engineering, or operational environments.
This role may also involve supporting field operations related to power systems including distribution oversight, equipment maintenance coordination, and system reliability activities.
Core Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop annual, monthly, and weekly schedules for inspections, maintenance activities, and project milestones.
- Coordinate and track field investigations, inspections, and deliverable timelines.
- Utilize tools such as SAP, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel to plan and manage project workflows.
Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor progress, costs, budgets, and resource allocation for multiple projects.
- Maintain project logs, dashboards, and databases to support internal reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare summaries, analysis reports, and status updates for leadership and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to support project execution.
- Participate in weekly and ad-hoc status meetings to discuss ongoing projects and resolve issues.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment between technical, field, and management teams.
Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to client safety policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support initiatives that enhance safety, compliance, and electrical system reliability.
- Ensure documentation and processes follow required guidelines.
Analysis & Problem-Solving
- Perform cost-benefit, trend, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Identify gaps, workflow issues, and project risks; recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
- Support project controls and performance monitoring activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum Experience
- 5+ years of IT or operational project management experience for senior-level roles.
- 2 3 years of project coordination or analytical experience for junior/entry roles.
- Experience in utility, energy, engineering, or technical environments is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor s degree preferred in Business, Engineering, IT, Project Management, or related field.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.
- Associate Degree in technical or relevant discipline is also considered.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and SAP for reporting and analysis.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and workflow tools.
- Ability to interpret gauges, meters, charts, or technical data (useful for field-related activities).
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines across multiple projects.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
