Job Details

UKG HR WFS Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, configuring, and maintaining the UKG Advance Scheduling and Timekeeping system.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Providing support to end-users, including training , documentation and creating Job Aids.
  • Collaborating with HR and IT teams to understand business requirements.
  • Participating in system upgrades testing and data validation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with UKG WFS and modules (Absent, Time & Attendance, Mobile, and Self Service).
  • UKG Pro with Advance Scheduling.
  • Strong understanding of HR and IT processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with New York Unions and understand their bargaining agreements and contracts.
  • Experience with multi-hospital entities.
  • Strong understanding of NY Nurse specific scheduling practices, types of shifts and schedule patterns (including 3 12-hour shifts / 4 10-hour shifts) and self-scheduling process, to meet patient care needs and employee preferences.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., UKG Pro WFM certifications) are often preferred.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Support Specialist: Investigating and resolving technical issues, providing guidance to internal teams and end-users, and assisting in system configuration.
  • Solution Specialist: Translating business requirements into technical solutions, maintaining systems configurations and providing ongoing functional advice.
  • Project Implementation Consultant: Implementing UKG WFS modules, working on project lifecycles, and identifying project issues.
