Job Description:
- XXgn, implement, and maintain physical database structures.
- Perform database optimization, capacity planning, installation, migration, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
- Maintain and monitor Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, and 19c databases in multi-tenant environments.
- Design and configure Oracle Database Servers on Windows, Solaris, and Linux platforms.
- Ensure performance and compliance of databases including SIEBEL, ARCGIS, and APEX.
- Implement security and auditing controls in alignment with privacy and security requirements.
- Support the architecture and design of new solutions with database expertise.
- Lead and support Oracle migration projects including upgrades to 19c.
- Coordinate and manage complex implementations and data refreshes to lower environments.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for production systems.
- Administer databases in both cloud-based and on-premise environments.
- Support replication, TDE, Dataguard, RAC, OMS, and OEM 13c environments.
- Document technical procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Evaluate technical risks, develop mitigation stXXgies, and communicate technical recommendations.
- CollaboXX effectively with stakeholders to solve business and technical issues.
- 10+ years of experience in database analysis, design, and implementation.
- Experience with Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, and 19c in multi-tenant environments.
- Strong skills in database security, auditing, and compliance practices.
- Proven ability to document technical work and conduct knowledge transfer.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of performance tuning, backup, recovery, and cloud migration.
- Familiarity with incident, change, and configuration management processes.
- Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and implementation planning.
- Experience with distributed data systems and middleware.
- Knowledge of cyber security remediation practices.
- Familiarity with emerging IT trends.
- Experience with data warehouse technologies and tools such as Oracle OBIEE.
- Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and tools.
- Experience in ERP and case management data integrations.
- Knowledge of patch and release management for database environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to lead complex technical planning and coordination.
- Technical documentation and team knowledge transfer.
- Experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable Oracle database solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
