SAP IS-U Platform Engineer

Project Overview:
? the upcoming SAP S/4 HANA Upgrade Project
? Platform enabler for ecosystem deployment and sustainment. Brings to life the architecture through system config, integration execution and operational support.
? Technical enablers - tools, platforms, scripting, performance, staging

Responsibilities:
? Build and manage platform environments supporting transformation program lifecycle activities, including data staging, test automation, integration and system migration.
? * Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment and monitoring pipelines across on-prem and cloud environments.
? * Collaborate with tech architects, developers and data leads to ensure platforms are configured to meet performance, security and compliance requirements.
? * Troubleshoot infrastructure and application platform issues across environments. (e.g., dev/test/QA/prod)
? * Establish DevOps pipelines, CI/CD workflows and infrastructure-as-code standards.
? * Support cutover, migration and performance turning activities during the technological transformation implementation phases.
? * Ensure system-level observability, backup and recovery and audit logging are built into all platform services.
? * Apply cybersecurity and regulatory standards to system engineering practices.

KSA (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
? * Platform config & optimization: ability to configure, monitor and tune chosen platform and other supporting platforms of performance and stability.
? * System integration & middleware support: ability to implement and troubleshoot middleware interfaces between different systems. Ensure reliable data flow, error handling routines and interface logging for cross system transactions.
? * Critical thinking: ability to thrive within continuous ambiguity and reflect solid options analysis
? * Regulatory analysis and testimony: partner with OpCos to shape large investment roadmaps and considerations into compelling testimony and support to regulatory teams
? * Financial acumen: strong experience generating high-quality multiyear cost models to support program delivery, both from capital investments and operational cost management and solutioning
? * Vendor management: ability to strategically structure and address vendor agreements that maximize customer and company yield from terms
? * Change adaptation: able to shift from ""as built"" to seize on opportunities to improve performance of operating practices
? * Relationship management: officer-level communication and presentation. Continuous, frequent dialog with department vice presidents to synthesize cohesive and supported strategies. Deep, high-trust relationships with key leaders and influencers in the spectrum of business operations, to ensure transformational capabilities are brought into the business change management activities"

Required Skills:
? * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
? * 5-7 years of experience in platform/system engineering, DevOps or infrastructure architecture
? * Hands-on configuration and testing experience in SAP ISU environment, minimum one experience or two (2-5 years).
? * SAP ECC and S/4HANA: Proficiency in SAP's core ERP systems, including the latest S/4HANA platform.
? * ABAP Programming: Ability to write and debug code in SAP's proprietary programming language.
? * SAP BASIS: Knowledge of system administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems.
? * Integration Technologies: Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) for integrating SAP with other systems.
? * Data Management: Skills in managing and migrating data within SAP ISU, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
? * Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
? * Strong understanding of security, scalability and performance consideration in enterprise systems.
? * Excellence communication and stakeholder management skills. "
