1. Recent retail experience is essential.
2. Preference for candidates with substantial experience in Logistics, Manufacturing, Final Mile, and related technologies.
3. Strong planning skills are required, along with technical expertise in these areas.
Detailed JD:
Utilizes established project management methodologies and tools to develop and implement technology project plans.
**Specific Responsibilities:**
- Uses established project management methodology and tools to create project plans for highly complex, strategic projects, including work plans, schedules, budgets, required skills and resources, scope, and responsibility matrices.
- Performs variance analysis on schedule, costs versus budgets, resources, and scope changes; collaborates with sponsors to make necessary trade-offs.
- Conducts risk assessments, responds to risks, and manages control measures.
- Communicates risks to clients, IT management, project sponsors, and vendors.
- Develops and implements mitigation strategies.
- Validates client and functional requirements for sponsors.
- Assesses impacts on existing technologies and communicates this to clients, sponsors, IT management, and vendors.
- Recommends existing application products to meet client needs.
- Evaluates operational efficiencies and possible business process changes.
- Presents findings and proposals to IT management, sponsors, and vendors.
- Manages pre- and post-implementation plans.
- Supervises project managers, providing direction.
- Handles complex issues requiring detailed analysis of situations or data.
- Applies judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
- Develops and recommends program strategies.
- Clearly articulates how program decisions influence the broader picture.
- Regularly interacts with customers, functional peers, managers, and occasionally with business leadership.
- Builds networks with key contacts outside their immediate area.
- Coaches, mentors, and trains team members as needed.
- Contributes to performance reviews and team development activities.
- Operates with limited guidance on new tasks and coordinates activities within the team.
