DUTIES:
Function as a Salesforce subject matter expert on our Enterprise Product Engineering team.
Take day-to-day direction from assigned Product Leaders/Owners to lead technical workgroups and function as a technical expert to help our team define and create the next generation of solutions to drive Marriott value and serve our business by leveraging current and leading-edge technologies in an innovative and impactful manner.
Drive continued Salesforce enhancements within Marriott ecosystem.
Design, develop, modify, test, and support highly reliable and large-scale software applications and services for the cloud that serve millions of customers.
Participate in software planning, design, and architecture sessions and fully own aspects of the technical solution.
Understand business requirements and translate them into small pieces of a microservice architecture.
Provide financial input on department or project budgets, capital expenditures or other cost/resource estimates as requested.
Identify opportunities to enhance the service delivery processes.
Perform more complex quantitative and qualitative analyses for service delivery processes and projects.
Ensures all projects follow the defined development and business case processes.
Ensures proper coordination with appropriate IT and vendor relations teams.
Provides consultation for routine and complex systems development.
Coordinates with Operations and Infrastructure Delivery teams for deployment and production support activities.
Validates that Service Providers develop and manage respective aspects of a project plan (e.g. schedules, deliverables, metrics).
Makes short term plans for the team to effectively utilize resources.
Facilitates timely resolution of service delivery problems and minimizes the impact to clients.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field followed by 6 years of progressively responsible Salesforce engineering and/or development experience OR Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field and 4 years of Salesforce engineering and/or development experience.
Other required experience:
4 years of experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using Connected Apps and APIs
4 years of experience in programming languages and methodologies (e.g. Java and Apex)
4 years of experience with DevOps tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins and Dynatrace
4 years of experience in Agile methodology environment
4 years of experience with Salesforce Flows, Process Builder and Workflows
4 years of experience with Salesforce security controls
4 years of experience integrating with other applications using Connected Apps and API's
4 Years of experience with building custom Lightning components using LWC or Aura
Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience will be accepted.
Telework: Hybrid position; part-time telecommuting authorized
The salary range for this position is $122,900 to $192,300 annually.
