SAP Project Manager/Scrum Master

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead the successful delivery of SAP initiatives across our enterprise. This is a hybrid role, combining traditional project management with hands-on Agile leadership. The right candidate will be comfortable navigating both structured project frameworks and Agile delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities: Project Management Duties:

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of SAP projects (e.g., S/4HANA implementations, module rollouts, enhancements).

  • Define detailed project plans, manage schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.

  • Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and status reports.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership.

  • Manage project financials and ensure delivery aligns with scope and timeline.

  • Coordinate cutover plans, data migration, and hypercare support activities.

Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Duties:

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more SAP Agile teams-facilitating stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.

  • Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices and mindset.

  • Support Product Owners in backlog refinement and prioritization.

  • Identify and remove impediments to team progress.

  • Track team metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) and promote continuous improvement.

  • Champion Agile delivery within a hybrid SAP Activate/Agile framework.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

  • 7+ years of project management experience, with 5+ years in SAP project delivery.

  • 3+ years serving as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.

  • Deep understanding of SAP solutions (S/4HANA, ECC, or specific modules like FI/CO, MM, SD).

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) and PMP or equivalent project management certification.

  • Proficiency with project and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project).

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in hybrid Agile-Waterfall SAP environments (e.g., SAP Activate)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing global SAP deployments or multi-vendor landscapes.

  • Familiarity with SAFe or Agile@Scale frameworks.

  • SAP module certification or SAP Activate certification is a plus.

  • Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD in SAP delivery.
