Position Title: NOC Technician
Openings: 2 - potential of Fulltime Hire after the contract period

Location is 100% on-Site in Allen, Texas

Work Schedules:

  • Schedule 1: Sunday Wednesday, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM CST

  • Schedule 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (off Wednesday), 7:00 AM 5:30 PM CST


Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive NOC Technician to join our Network Operations Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the stability and performance of our network infrastructure. This position requires a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain computer networks and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Ensure the stability of telecommunications and network infrastructure.

  • Respond promptly to network alerts, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Perform routine network performance checks and preventive maintenance.

  • Coordinate with field technicians, engineers, and other internal teams for issue resolution.

  • Document network incidents, outages, and quality control activities.

  • Execute incident response procedures for remote and cloud-based operations.

  • Manage incidents, changes, and problems using ServiceNow.

  • Conduct remote network surveillance and event monitoring.

  • Triage and resolve incidents within defined SLA timelines.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts for complex troubleshooting efforts.

  • Provide professional customer-facing support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.

  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders during service-impacting events.

  • Manage and escalate vendor tickets as necessary.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong understanding of IP networking and related protocols.

  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools.

  • Minimum of 1 year troubleshooting IP connectivity and hardware issues.

  • Knowledge of VPN, BGP, MPLS, and SIP technologies.

  • Ability to interpret and work with network diagrams (e.g., Visio).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and respond quickly to incidents.
