Job Title: IT Procurement Specialist

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist to join our client and support technology purchasing and vendor management processes. This role is critical in ensuring accurate procurement transactions, timely requisition handling, and compliance with organizational standards. The position is based in Middletown, PA, currently remote with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule. This is a contract opportunity offering exposure to IT operations and procurement best practices.

Compensation:
$55.86 – $62.84 per hour

Work Schedule:
Standard Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities of the IT Procurement Specialist:

• Manage the staff augmentation requisition process, collaborating with internal stakeholders to finalize requests
• Submit requisitions to external vendors and ensure timely processing
• Create and update purchase orders and shopping carts using procurement systems
• Review and process monthly invoices, goods receipts, and change orders for accuracy
• Maintain IT dashboards and ensure data integrity across procurement records
• Build strong working relationships with technology teams, business owners, vendors, and project sponsors
• Work independently while adhering to organizational standards, policies, and procedures
• Utilize various software tools to complete procurement and reporting tasks

Qualifications and Skills for the IT Procurement Specialist:

• Experience in IT procurement or vendor management
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with procurement systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
