Job Details

Need locals to NY/NJ within commutable distance

The OBIEE/BI Developer will provide day-to-day application support and enhancements and work closely with the business and data analysts.
Candidates must be willing to work onsite full-time.

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Good knowledge and experience in understanding of logical and physical data models; (minimum 4 years) using various data sources
  • Oracle OBIEE Dashboards/Answers 12c (4 years)
  • Oracle BI Publisher 12.2 (4 years), building complicated templates.
  • Oracle Analytics Server and Data Visualization (2 years)
  • Oracle Database 19c : data modeling, queries, stored procedures (4 years)
  • Experience in scrum management framework and participating in all scrum ceremonies.
  • Excellent client interface and training skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environments and multi-task
  • Must be detail and process oriented.
  • Must possess a collaborative working style and the ability to work independently in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in technical, business, or scientific discipline or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Design, develop, and maintain OBIEE reporting and repository layers.
  • Work with business analysts to translate business requirements into robust OBIEE reports and dashboards.
  • Optimize and tune performance of OBIEE reports to ensure high responsiveness.
  • Manage OBIEE Reporting Database (RPD) development including physical, business, and presentation layers.
  • Conduct data modeling and create logical business models and metadata repositories.
  • Provide training and support to business users on OBIEE tools and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) dashboards.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate OAS with other enterprise applications.
  • Perform regular system upgrades and patches in collaboration with the IT infrastructure team.
  • Document technical designs, processes, and specifications for internal and compliance purposes.
  • Creating, enhancing, and maintaining OAS Data Visualizations, OBIEE Dashboards, Answers, and pixel perfect BI Publisher reports.
  • Enhancement responsibilities include requirements gathering and analysis, designing, building, testing, documenting, and deploying report solutions.
  • Other responsibilities include but are not limited to progress and status reporting and use of Client project and requirements management tools.
