  • Worksite Location: Remote, MN
  • Compensation: $51.13-$52.63 per hour

What you ll do as the Associate ACS Engineer:
  • Provide remote technical support for Access Control System installations, ensuring proper configuration and integration
  • Oversee commissioning processes to validate system functionality and compliance with specifications
  • Guide field teams through Intercom hardware installation and programming
  • Configure intercom devices, user settings, and system integrations
  • Validate and commission intercom systems for operational readiness
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues remotely, offering clear diagnostic steps and solutions
  • Document procedures, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for internal knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues

What you ll bring to the Associate ACS Engineer role:
  • Technical knowledge of access control systems including door controllers, card readers, electrified hardware, credentials, and panels
  • Hands-on experience with intercom systems including hardware installation, wiring, and device-level configuration
  • Proven experience in commissioning and validating access control and intercom platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to remotely diagnose wiring, network, or configuration issues
  • Understanding of low-voltage systems, wiring standards, and basic electronics
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, PoE, and device connectivity
  • Excellent communication skills to guide field technicians during installations and service calls
  • Ability to clearly document work, create reports, and develop repeatable procedures
