Avanciers are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Financial Analyst to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Memphis, TN. In this onsite role, you will report to the Business Controller and work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial accuracy, cost optimization, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Control & Analysis: Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, identify variances, and collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Accounts Reconciliation: Perform balance sheet reconciliations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage intercompany transactions.
Business Performance Insights: Analyze financial performance, prepare KPI-based reports, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
General Ledger & Journal Entries: Prepare, review, and post journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger records.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; support internal and external audits with required documentation.
AP & Purchasing Reconciliation: Reconcile purchasing receipts with AP ledgers, validate AP data accuracy, and review invoices and statements with the purchasing team.
Balance Sheet Management: Reconcile and maintain assigned balance sheet accounts.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
Experience with SAP (preferred).
Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and ability to multitask.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
