Now Hiring: Senior PeopleSoft HR/ HCM Administrator - Albany, NY

Location: Albany, NY (Onsite/Local Candidates Preferred)

Contract Length: 30 Months

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect / PeopleSoft Administrator to support NYSITS. This is a long-term engagement where you will play a critical role in administering, upgrading, and maintaining PeopleSoft HR & HCM systems. The role requires deep technical expertise across PeopleSoft environments, databases, and middleware with a strong focus on system stability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, tune, upgrade, and patch Oracle PeopleSoft HR & HCM (v9 or higher) in Unix/Solaris/Linux environments.

Perform code migrations and system administration for enterprise applications.

Administer PeopleTools 8.49 or higher including installation, upgrading, patching, and tuning.

Execute PeopleTools and PeopleSoft upgrades using PUM and Change Assistant tools.

Manage WebLogic and Tuxedo environments, including troubleshooting, HA configuration, patching, and upgrades.

Support Oracle Databases (10g or higher) for creating and maintaining PeopleSoft databases.

Ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance with organizational standards.

Required Expertise

7+ years administering PeopleSoft HR & HCM (9 or higher)

7+ years with PeopleTools 8.49+ (installation, patching, upgrades, tuning)

Hands-on experience with PUM & Change Assistant for PeopleSoft upgrades

5+ years with WebLogic and Tuxedo (installation, HA, configuration, upgrades)

5+ years working with Oracle Databases (10g or higher) to support PeopleSoft environments
