Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team in Battle Ground, Washington. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive better decision-making across the organization. Your work will empower colleagues by delivering tools and training that enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various operational systems to quantify business performance.
Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand their needs and deliver customized BI solutions.
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide clear insights into key metrics.
Train team members on the effective use of BI tools and interpretive data visualizations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, reports, and faulty data flows.
Respond to ad hoc requests for insights and support internal users with their data needs.
Ensure data integrity and optimize processes for collecting and analyzing information.
Leverage tools such as BigQuery, MySQL, Typescript, and Node.js to support BI initiatives.

Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Intelligence (BI) role.
Proficiency in BI technologies and the ability to create business requirement documents.
Strong expertise in working with tools such as BigQuery and MySQL.
Experience with programming languages, including Typescript and Node.js.
Ability to collaborate effectively with business users to develop tailored BI solutions.
Solid troubleshooting skills to address issues with data flows and reporting systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication skills to train and support colleagues in using BI tools.
