Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you’ll design, build, and optimize data solutions that enable smarter business decisions and advanced analytics.

·        Develop and maintain data pipelines with Azure Data Factory (Data Fabric / Lakeflow) and Databricks.

·        Design and manage Azure Data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions (Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery).

·        Apply best practices in data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, normalization, partitioning).

·        Write and tune complex SQL queries for high performance across large datasets.

·        Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across platforms.

·        Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver self-service data products.

What We’re Looking For

·        3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.

·        Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake, and Databricks.

·        Strong background in data warehousing and data modeling.

·        Advanced SQL skills for analytics and optimization.

·        Experience with Python for data processing (Scala/Java a plus).

·        Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or similar).

·        Experience working in Azure cloud environments.

Bonus Points

·        Experience with dbt or other ELT frameworks.

·        Familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka, Event Hubs).

·        Knowledge of data governance tools (Azure Purview, Collibra, Atlas).

·        Exposure to CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
